Donington Exhibition Centre: 1998 - 2008
For the 11 years between 1998 and 2008, the show occupied the Donington Exhibition Centre, finally moving on to Loughborough University due to demolition of the site to make way for the Donington Park race circuit upgrades.
1998
During the first day of the 1998 show we experienced a major
power failure (not caused by us!). This resulted in a temporary
500KW generator being installed to power the exhibition hall
for the second day whilst the power company repaired overhead
cables in the local area.
